I will be posting travel tips and recommendations about how to get a taste of the Real Florida. Now What is that? I am talking about the travel destinations people may never find by driving the interstates. I am talking about secluded places like Anna Maria Island's "Rod and Reel". I am talking about the best Alabama BBQ - south of Alabama! I am talking, isolated beaches, refreshing freshwater springs, family hotels and rentals, sailing adventures, local fishing charters, and some roadside attractions you might be embarassed to admit you stopped at later. We prefer family friendly locales and activities that may get missed by the corporate sites. We take the country highways and roads just to see what we can find. My wife and I are passionate about travel and even more passionate about our home state.
